We thank you for your loyalty and look forward to welcoming you to our fabulous sites for memorable holidays.

The French government has authorised campsites to open from 2nd June.

However, the official health and safety protocols that will be applicable to receive you on our sites and infrastructure are not yet known.

Consequently, in order to best prepare your stay with us in strict compliance with health rules, our campsites will be open from 20th June. Our reservation system is open from today for you to make your reservation. If it becomes possible to open our sites earlier, it will be our pleasure to let you know.

What happens if my stay was scheduled for prior to 2 June 2020?

In order to comply with government and health authority guidelines, we will be obliged to cancel your stay. Contrary to what is stated in our General Conditions of Sale, you will automatically receive a credit note, valid for 18 months, corresponding to the total sum that you have already paid, in accordance with Ordinance No. 2020-315 of 25 March 2020.
 

Do I have the option of a refund following the cancellation?

Ordinance No. 2020-315 of 25 March 2020 is a means of supporting the tourist sector, which will emerge weakened from this crisis, and of which our company is a part. It will not be possible to issue refunds, however, credit notes will be automatically issued if your trip is cancelled, either by you or as a result of governmental measures.
 

Does cancellation insurance cover COVID 19?

As part of the holiday cancellation insurance offered by Campéole, you will be reimbursed for your stay (excluding booking fees and the cost of the guarantee) as follows:

- If anybody who would usually be going on this holiday is affected by the coronavirus at the time of the holiday or in the 14 days preceding the holiday (upon presentation of a medical certificate).

- If the campsite is in a containment zone on the date of your holiday (Campéole will inform you if applicable).

If you are in a containment zone following an administrative health decision preventing any travel on the date of your holiday (by prefectural order).
 

What are the conditions of cover for a refund under the cancellation insurance?

For bookings and cancellation insurance subscriptions taken out:

  • Before 16/03/20: The Insurance Company shall provide compensation for advance payments made (excluding administrative and insurance fees) for all holidays registered prior to 16/03 and that are to take place between 16/03/20 and 15/07/20 at the latest.
     
  • ​After 16/03/20: Coronavirus is no longer a covered reason for cancellation.

 

All other contractual grounds for cancellation shall remain covered by the Insurance Company, whatever the booking date or the date of the stay.
 

Can I cancel or amend my holiday if it is scheduled to begin after 2 June 2020?

If your holiday is not affected by a cancellation following notification of the opening dates for our properties, but you nonetheless wish to cancel, please inform us by email and we will issue a credit note for the sums already paid.
Generally speaking, we recommend that you only contact us if your holiday is set to commence in the coming days. Our advisors are working remotely, and we assure you that all requests will be processed. We are prioritising the processing of requests on the basis of when the respective holidays are scheduled to commence.
 

Can I cancel the direct debit for the payment for my holiday?

For holidays in June only, you can contact the Reservations Department if you wish to cancel your direct debit.
