History

All starts in 1935 when Raymond Trigano, André Trigano's father, created the first canvas cover workshop in Paris.
One year later, after the victory of the Popular Front, the family takes part in the incredible upheaval of the first paid-leaves. I want to go to the seaside. I would like a tent where I would be able to hold up with my husband and my three children and a place where I could put my luggage. Can you build me this?

1936

It's the birth of the Triganette.
The camp-site adventure starts.

1946

The innovation continues : with the creation of the first square family tent and the rental without guarantee that makes it possible for thousands of French to leave on holiday, some of them for the first time.

1949

The Triganos equip the first Club Med village in tents.

1956

André Trigano launches his well known advertisement: the camp-site, it is Trigano

1986

Then it is the invention of the Bengali, a revolution in 1986, the first rental accommodation ; a cavas covered bungalow furnished and fully equipped.
You do not need to bring anymore your own accommodation to spend your holidays in the open air.

1996

Campéole becomes in 1996, the first chain of campsite-villages in France, it vehicles today all the history of Andre Trigano who is more than ever listening to the families desires.
